COACH

“A good coach can change a game; a great coach can change a life.” — John Wooden

Coaching is essential part of our game that we value.

Te Ohu Ikaroa Touch aim to offer development opportunities for all levels and ages. Coaches can be categorised within 4 community groups Foundation, Development, Performance, and High Performance

A coach will sit in one or more of these communities as they look to assist players.

Which coaching community or communities do you sit within?

An example of a coach that sits in more than one community is a coach that coaches an Open Mixed Provincial Team (Performance) but also coaches their 5 year old son’s school team (Foundation). Many of coaching skills cross over but you will require different approaches with each team to meet the needs of all.

Practical Courses
